Tolland Officials Asking For Help With Catch Basins
With more rain on the way, Tolland officials have issued a catch basin plea.
TOLLAND, CT — With the potential of another two inches of rain coming later in Friday, Tolland officials are asking a favor from resident who have catch basins in front of their homes.
"We are asking residents to clear any debris and leaves over catch basins in front of homes," said a plea sent over the local alert system Thursday night.
Clogged catch basins can lead to flash flooding on roads in town, officisals said.
