Tolland Officials Release Revised 2023-24 Budget Adoption Schedule
The Tolland town manager is to release his budget numbers Wednesday.

TOLLAND, CT — Town officials Tuesday released a revised budget schedule for the adoption of a 2023–24 fiscal year spending plan for Tolland.
Town Manager Brian Foley is slated to submit a budget to the council by Wednesday.

- March 8 (Wednesday): Town manager submits Budget to Council
- March 9 (Thursday): Advertise Public Hearing
- March 15: (Wednesday): Town manager discusses Budget with the Council – Council Chambers, 7 p.m.
- March 16, 2023 (Thursday): Town manager discusses Budget with the Council – Council Chambers, 7 p.m.
- March 20 (Monday): Town manager discusses Budget with the Council – Council Chambers, 7 p.m.
- March 23 (Thursday): PUBLIC HEARING on the town manager's recommended budget: Board of Education, Town Government, Capital Improvement Plan – Council Chambers, 7 p.m.
- March 29 (Wednesday): Council Discussion – Budget Finalized – Council Chambers, 7 p.m.
- April 4, (Tuesday): Advertise Budget
- April 19 (Wednesday): ANNUAL BUDGET PRESENTATION MEETING – Council Chambers, 7 p.m. The BOE is provided an opportunity to present a revised adopted budget based on funding approved by Town Council and other line item updates
- May 2 (Tuesday): Annual Budget Referendum
- By May 9 (Tuesday): Council Establishes a tax rate upon referendum adoption
