Tolland Patch Letter: Mashantucket Pequot Nation Supports Nuccio

To The Editor:

I write to lend my support for the re-election of Rep. Tammy Nuccio (R-Tolland) for state representative.

As the chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, I was privileged to work with Tammy in her capacity as a member of the General Assembly’s Finance Committee. She is the consummate legislator - one who reads, learns, asks questions, and executes. Her diligence is widely recognized and her subsequent impact notable.

Our nation very much appreciated the valuable role Tammy played in appropriately acknowledging our Tribe's sovereign rights.

I hope the people of Tolland, Willington and Vernon will afford her the opportunity for a second term at the Capitol. I have no doubt she will accomplish great things.
