Tolland Ranked Among Best Places to Live in U.S.

Time Inc. has ranked the 50 best places to live in the United States, and Tolland is listed in the top 40.

“We rank the 50 best towns in the country - places with great jobs, strong economies, affordable homes, excellent schools, and that special something that makes it a great place to live,” Time said in a prelude to its list.

Tolland was ranked at number 34 in the report, with the Tolland Green historic area, abundant open space, a thriving arts community and the Star Hill Athletic Center being cited among the factors.
