Tolland Republicans Endorse 2021 Municipal Election Slate
The Tolland Republican Town Committee has announced candidates for the fall election.

TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Republican Town Committee endorsed 13 candidates — including 10 incumbents — to run for various offices in the November 2021 Tolland municipal election.
The Tolland Republican Town Committee slate includes:
- Town Council: Tammy Nuccio, John Reagan, Louis Luba, Kurt Schenher and William (Bill) Bode III
- Board of Education: Anthony (Tony) Holt, Jacob J. Marie, Christine L. Griffin and Renie Besaw
- Planning & Zoning: Andy Powell and Erin Stavens
- Zoning Board of Appeals: Claudette Morehouse and Michael Pennington-Martel
The three newcomers on the council slate are Bode, Stavens and Pennington-Martel. The Tolland Town Council consists of seven members who serve two-year terms, while the other three boards have a varied range of two and four year terms.

"We are really excited about our slate this year. Most of our candidates have chosen to run for a second or even a third term because they love their community and want it to be the best that it can be," said Lisa Burns, the Tolland Republican Town Committee chairwoman. "Whether it’s being fiscally responsible, promoting smart economic development or making sure our students are successful, Tolland has experienced proven results under their leadership and this united team is excited to build upon the progress they’ve made so far.
The Tolland municipal election will take place on Nov 2.
