TOLLAND, CT — Tolland Republicans have endorsed 14 candidates — including four incumbents — to run for the November 2023 Tolland municipal election.

The Tolland Republican Town Committee slate includes:

The slate includes seven newcomers — Michael Famiglietti, Scott Lewis, Alexander Noonan, Brian Thompson, Daniel Sheridan, Monique Mead and Brian Mead, who are running for Tolland Town Council, Board of Education and Planning & Zoning, respectively.

The Town Council consists of five members who serve two year terms, while the other three boards have a varied range of two and four year terms.

"We have a tremendous group of candidates this year coming from a variety of different backgrounds and expertise. They are passionate about their community and want to make a difference," said Lisa Burns, the Tolland Republican Town Committee chairwoman. "Whether it’s fiscal responsibility, public safety, student success through data-driven results, or smart economic growth, Tolland Republican candidates have experience and dedication to addressing these important topics. We are excited and ready to serve."

The Tolland municipal election is scheduled for Nov. 7. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day.

The TRTC will be offering rides to the polls via tollandrepublicans.org.
