TOLLAND – The Town of Tolland is seeking residents to serve on two different conservation-oriented commissions.

The Inland Wetlands Commission has vacancies for two alternate members. This Commission meets the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. and members are appointed by the Town Council. The Commission is charged with reviewing plans and activities in and near wetlands and waterways.
The Conservation Commission is seeking one alternate member. The Commission meets twice per month on the second and fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m and members are appointed by the Town Manager. The Commission provides management guidance for the Town’s many conservation areas, promotes outdoor activities and undertakes various conservation projects.
