
Tolland softball (1-1) won Monday's game against Wethersfield, 6-4, according to a game summary from coach Tom Drury.
The Eagles took an early lead in the bottom of the second inning, scoring four runs, and adding another run in the third, for a 5-0 lead.
Wethersfield (0-2) rallied in the fourth inning, bringing in four runs, but was ultimately unable to overcome Tolland's lead.

Drury said that Tolland's Haley Provost had two hits and two runs, with teammate Jess Olson adding a single and 2 RBI's. Olson also pitched a 3.2 inning shutout, Drury said.
Jacqui Foreman also hit a double and RBI.

Drury highlighted Wethersfield's Cynthia Davis for scoring a single run, and Martha Harris who had two hits, a triple and two RBI's.
