The Town of Tolland seeks applications for position of Recreation Coordinator. A 24- hour per week part-time job, starting salary $22.83 to $24.73 per hour (DOQ) with no benefits. Helps develop, coordinate and oversee community recreational, social and cultural programs and assists the Director of Recreation and Adult Education in the planning and administration of the department’s programs and activities. The skills and knowledge required for this position would generally be acquired with an Associate’s Degree in Recreation Administration or in some closely related field, and three years of increasingly responsible experience in municipal or group recreation or a closely related field, or a combination of educational and experience which provides a demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
