Troop C Log: The Latest State Police Arrests

TOLLAND, CT — Here are the latest arrests made by state police out of the Troop C barracks.

Jan. 11

TOLLAND, CT — Edwin Jose Mendez, 27, of Mansfield, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, use of an improper marker plate and insurance and registration violations after a traffic stop on Merrow Road.

WILLINGTON, CT — Saul Ayala, 51, of Hartford, was charged with driving under the influence and a lane violation after a traffic stop on Route 32.

Jan. 12

MANSFIELD, CT — Richard Blinn, 60, of Murrells Inlet, SC, was charged via a warrant with harassment and threatening, both in the second degree, in a case that dates back to 2004.

Jan. 13

WILLINGTON, CT — James Faulkner, 23, of Vernon, was charged with the criminal violation of a restraining order on a warrant.

Jan. 14

SOMERS, CT — Michael Demers, 59, whose listed address is in Somers, was charged with failure to verify an address related to the state sex offense registry.

ELLINGTON, CT — Shakur Dudley, 19, was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree larceny, criminal use of a weapon and first-degree threatening related to an incident in Ellington. Charges on a second warrant include first-degree robbery, second-degree larceny,second -degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment and first-degree kidnapping.

Jan. 15

ELLINGTON, CT — Fernando Gomez, 25, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, first-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after police responded to a car fire.

SOMERS, CT — After a crash at Maple Street and Somers Road, state police charged 48-year-old Vernon resident David Sutherland with following too closely and driving under the influence.

Jan. 16

ELLINGTON, CT — After a road rage incident on Middle Butcher Road, Steven Rollins, 34, of Ellington, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.

ELLINGTON, CT — Disorderly conduct and third-degree assault charges were filed against Liam Shepard, 20, of Ellington after a disturbance on Sunset Road.

WILLINGTON, CT — Sean Labaron, 51, of Stafford, was charged with illegally operating to motor vehicle to harass or intimidate, second-degree breach of peace and first-degree threatening after a road rage incident on Ruby Road.
