Trucks Run Off Stretch of I-84 in Tolland
The crash involving two trucks took place on Monday.

TOLLAND, CT —State police and firefighters on Monday responded to a a crash on Interstate-84 in which two trucks hurtled off the highway and wound up slamming into some woods right next to each other.
The crash was reported at about 4:50 p.m. It was on the eastbound side of the highway near Exit 69, according to Tolland Alert.
One driver was entangled in the wreckage, according to Tolland Alert.

A crew from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection arrived at the scene at about 5:15 to supervise the unloading of the trucks' fuel tanks, fire officials said.
The trailers were carrying "consumer items," fire officials said.
