Wanted: Members for New Tolland Blight Committee

The Town Council is charged with appointing the committee members.

TOLLAND, CT — The Town of Tolland is seeking residents to serve on a three-member Blight Review Committee.

The committee, created through a newly adopted Blight Ordinance, is charged with reviewing complaints of blight.

No experience is required and the committee will be supported by town staff members, town officials said.

It is expected that the committee will meet once per month, likely in the evening, town officials said.

The Town Council is charged with appointing the committee members.

Any resident interested in being considered by the Council or might have questions about serving on the committee can submit a letter of interest to vacancies@tolland.org.
