Yuengling Beer Being Distributed in West Hartford

The day has finally come for Connecticut Yuengling lovers who have been eagerly awaiting for America’s oldest brewery to start distributing in the state again.

Sept. 22 was the first day that the brew can be bought on draft in the state. Kegs are currently being rolled out to restaurants and bars in Hartford, Tolland and Middlesex counties, the Hartford Courant reports.

The company will start distributing bottles to liquor stores and other retailers on Oct. 6, according to its Facebook page.

Yuengling currently has breweries in Pottsville, PA and Tampa, FL. It stopped distributing in Connecticut in the 1990’s in order to focus on core markets, the Courant reports.

Hartford Distributors in Manchester will be distributing the beer.
