• M&T Bank opens Torrington branch months after closing supermarket location (hartfordbusiness.com subscription) — A new full-service M&T Bank branch has opened at 25 Pineridge Road in Torrington, restoring in-person banking after the closure of the Stop & Shop in-store branch on Torringford Street. Residents now have teller service, drive-thru access, a walk-up ATM, and support for mortgages and small business lending, as the bank expands its standalone presence in Connecticut.
