Following its historic performance as the first drama ever staged under the golden dome of Connecticut's State Capitol building, A Goodnight Kiss will return to the Litchfield Hills for an exclusive residence at Five Points Arts Center.
The Civil War-era drama, written by award-winning playwright Cinzi Lavin and directed by veteran TV/film actress Kathy Kelly, will be staged on June 13 and 14, 2026. This homecoming follows its sold-out premiere in Goshen, Connecticut in June of 2025 and its groundbreaking April 1 performance for state legislators, VIP guests, and cultural leaders in Hartford at the state capitol.
This special engagement performance at the world-class New England arts center will be the cornerstone of local celebrations for the 250th anniversary of America's independence. The stellar cast is led by David Macharelli and Olivia Wadsworth.
