Here is a list of dates to know for this school year, according to the 2026-2027 district calendar:

- Aug. 20-21: New teacher orientation.
- Aug. 24-26: Educator professional development days; no school for students.
- Aug. 27: First day of school for students; full day.
- Sept. 7: Labor Day; no school.
- Sept. 15: Early dismissal.
- Sept. 21: Yom Kippur; no school.
- Oct. 12: Indigenous Peoples' Day; no school.
- Oct. 27: Afternoon conferences for grades PK-8; early closing for grades PK-8.
- Oct. 29: Afternoon conferences for grades PK-5; early closing for grades PK-5.
- Nov. 3: Election Day; no school.
- Nov. 5: Evening conferences for grades PK-5; early closing for grades PK-5.
- Nov. 10: Afternoon/evening conferences for grades 6-8; early closing for grades 6-8.
