And J. Crew Makes 3

Two businesses are coming and one is already here.

A liquor store has won approval for the Long Hill Green Mixed Use Development and a J. Crew Store is coming to the .

And a salon will be moving to Main Street near Town Hall.

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the liquor store and salon, and J. Crew is slated to open in the fall next to .

“We are thrilled to welcome J. Crew to our selection of high-quality fashion retailers,” said Senior General Manager, Bryan Gaus.  “J. Crew is a top customer request and we are happy to continue to provide shoppers with the stores and the shopping experience they are looking for."

According to a press release, J. Crew features pieces like the J. Crew Legacy blazer, fine Italian cashmere sweaters, and famous broken-in chinos.

They are among such stores an Ann Taylor, , Coach, Metropark USA, Skechers and , which opened recently in the renovated mall. (Metropark has since closed after declaring bankruptcy.) H&M, 77kids and L.A. Fitness will also be coming, according to the release.

"It's a great addition to the center," said Deborah Cox, the Town's Economic Development director.

Although the liquor store was approved, it must also get a permit from the state. It was approved for 10 Broadway Road and the applicants are Murali Yalamanchili and Michael Yaylagul.

Hair Salon won approval to move to 5803 Main St., the Cider Mill Center.

Attorney Steve Riley, representing the property owner Mildred Krisak, said the use is not new for plaza, which once housed a pharmacy, a warehouse and a beauty parlor.

"We want to convey our support for this application. This fits in perfectly," Cox said.

The business is owned by sisters Mary Hunte and Carolyn Del Medico.
