Meet Caroline Abbot Program
There is still time to register for the Historical Society's new American Girl program Feb. 23!
Caroline Abbott is the newest historical character from the American Girl doll series. Caroline's stories take place during the War of 1812, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary. Caroline lives in Sackets Harbor, NY. Her father is a ship builder and captured by the British navy. Her stories are exciting and well researched.
On February 23, the Historical Society will be hosting a program focusing on Caroline Abbot and what life was like for girls during the regency era. They will learn about this little-known period of American history through games and crafts. The event will take place from 10am-12pm.
The cost is $15 for members, $20 for non members. Registration required. Email Trumbullhistory@gmail.com for more information.
