TYA's "Footloose" cast proves hard work equals success
Enjoy a great evening of musical theater at this wonderful community event! The show opens next week, August 2nd to 5th, at Madison Middle School.

How do you put on a great summer musical? Practice! That’s exactly what the 56 teens and college students of the Trumbull Youth Association have been doing to prepare for their upcoming performances of “Footloose,” which opens on Thursday, August 2nd at Madison Middle School.
Joining the cast of "Footloose" requires a high level of commitment. The cast has dedicated four hours of every weeknight this summer, plus several Saturdays, to rehearsals. Starting on their first day of summer vacation, they have been memorizing lines, practicing new songs, perfecting vigorous dance routines, and (for some) even learning to roller skate!
With a group of Trumbull teens who have that kind of focus, and a production staff of theater veterans, “Footloose” is sure to be another hit for TYA, which is celebrating its 43rd consecutive year of providing a high-caliber theater experience for Trumbull audiences.
