Daniels Farm Road Home Heavily Burned in Tuesday Fire

TRUMBULL, CT—Firefighters from Long Hill and Trumbull Center knocked down a heavy fire on Daniels Farm Road Tuesday afternoon.

Crews responded around 1:30 p.m. and the road was shut down to traffic for some time as firefighters battled the blaze, according to the Long Hill Volunteer Fire Company #1 Facebook page.

The home was vacant and heavy fire and smoke was pouring out of all floors.

Crews knocked down the bulk of the fire from the outside and went in with two hoses to extinguish remaining fire.
