Deer With Can Stuck On Head Rescued

Trumbull officers rescued the deer Tuesday.

Trumbull, CT-- Trumbull animal control officers rescued a deer that had a can tight on its head Tuesday.

Animal Control Officer Lynn Dellabianca and Sgt. Doug Smith responded to the area of Strobel and Doe Hollow roads after a resident reported a deer wandering around with what appeared to be a bag on its head.

They found the deer with a metal watering can on its head. Dellabianca slipped a leash around the deer’s neck and secured it to a tree so it wouldn’t run off.
