Deli Robbed in Norwalk

NORWALK, CT — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Wednesday at the Sountview Deli on Soundview Avenue.

Two males entered the store and one went behind the counter and forced the clerk to the ground. One of the suspects removed cash from the register and stole the clerk's purse.

The men then fled onto Cliff Street. No weapons were displayed and there were no reported injuries.

Police describe the suspects as the following:

One suspect wore a ark colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants with whitestripes and white shoes. The second suspect wore a red hooded sweatshirt with white writing, dark pants and shoes. Both wore masks and gloves.
