Doug Sutherland Hopes to Debate Trumbull State Rep. David Rutigliano

Trumbull state representative candidate Doug Sutherland said he hopes to debate his opponent, incumbent State Rep. David Rutigliano before Election Day.

Sutherland said he agreed to attend a debate on Oct. 23 hosted by the League of Women Voters and is still waiting for a response from Rutigliano’s campaign.

“Over three weeks later, we are still waiting to hear from Mr. Rutigliano’s campaign. It seems my opponent is too afraid to stand up and defend his record before the voters of Trumbull,” Sutherland said in a statement.
