More Trumbullites Unemployed Since June
But in the latest jobs numbers, Trumbull's unemployment rate remains below average.
Trumbull's unemployed numbers rose slightly since June.
Since January, Trumbull's unemployment rate has increased from 6.8 to 7.0, from 1,241 to 1,324. Also since January, the employed have risen from 16,961 to 17,553.
Statewide, the unemployment rate is 8.1 percent and the national rate is 8.2 percent, putting Trumbull below the average.
