Historical Society American Girl Summer Camp 2012

"An American Girl's Historic Journey"

Join us for this year's Historical Society summer camp 2012! Each day we will explore a different period in American history by focusing on a doll from the American Girl Collection. Instructors will dress in period costumes and allow your children to explore historical artifacts, play period games, do crafts and enjoy a snack. Campers are invited to dress up and bring along a doll!

Dolls and periods studied will include: Kaya and Native Americans, Felicity and the colonial era, Samantha and the Edwardian era, and Kit and the depression era.

This program is for children ages 7 and up. There is a camp fee of $140 for members, $150 for non members which will include a family membership to the Historical Society. Contact museum coordinator Alicia Preusch at Trumbullhistory@gmail.com or call 203-377-6620 for more information. Registration forms available at the museum and Trumbull Libraries. We can even email you a form!
