The Long Hill Garden Club meeting

Margery Winters will discuss native plants and their beauty, benefits, and the importance of recapturing native habitats. Margery, an instructor & manager of the native plant gardens at Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton, is a past program chairman of Federated Garden Club’s Landscape Design Study Program & Master Landscape Design Consultant. She is active in her community of Simsbury. She has supported Connecticut’s river and land issues and is the former director of Programs & Research with Rivers Alliance of CT.
