Trumbull Community Women will present their annual fundraising gala, “Oh, What a Night!” on Saturday, November 19th, at Vazzano’s Four Seasons in Stratford. The sixties-themed evening will offer a wine and beer tasting by Glen-Ro Spirit Shoppe of Monroe, buffet dinner, music, silent auction, and a cash bar.
Proceeds from the event will fund the many service projects that are undertaken each year by this volunteer organization. The club is dedicated to improving life in the Trumbull community. Among the many events TCW volunteers organize are Tidy Up Trumbull, Food Drives for the Trumbull Food Pantry, the Children’s Creative Tent at the Trumbull Arts Festival, High School scholarships, Relay for Life. They are very active in the support of our Veterans and active service members. The club was singled out for praise by Family Circle magazine in its article naming Trumbull #7 on their Ten Best Towns for Families list.
