Frank H. Czajkowski, Esq, 80: Longtime Trumbull Resident

Czajkowski is originally from Brooklyn and has been a Trumbull resident since 1972.

Frank H. Czajkowski, Esq., age 80, was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 7, 1936.

He was the son of the late Henry and Stephanie (Choinska) Czajkowski. A resident of Trumbull since 1972, he died peacefully in his home on March 12, 2016. He was the loving and devoted husband of the late Cecilia Artowicz Czajkowski.

He is survived by his three daughters Karen A. Barrett of Fairfield, CT, Judith F. Rovinelli and husband Robert Rovinelli of Trumbull, CT, and Susan L. Czajkowski of Trumbull, CT; and his four grandchildren Jennifer M. Barrett, Michael J. Barrett, Frank D. Utz and Danielle N. Utz; his sister- in-laws Annette Mikucki and her husband Arthur of Trumbull and Annabelle Thomas and her husband Edward of Minnesota and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

He graduated from St John's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree; St John's University School of Law with a Law degree; and received a Juris Doctorate degree from George Washington University. He was admitted to practice law in the states of New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, and the District of Columbia; as well as, before the Supreme Court of the United States.

He began his career in private practice in New York, and then moved to Washington, D.C. for a position as an attorney for the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission. He continued a successful career in employment law with organizations such as Sinclair Oil and Atlantic Richfield (ARCO). In 1972 he relocated his family to Trumbull, CT and was employed by Stauffer Chemical Company, Cheeseborough Ponds, and ultimately Unilever where he retired from corporate life.

During his career he lectured, wrote, and taught university courses on various specialized legal subject matter. Following retirement, he continued a limited practice of law as an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association. He enjoyed playing both basketball and baseball for his high school and college teams, then assisted coaching several youth basketball teams for his children and grandchildren.

He enjoyed history, politics, sports, travel and music. He was very much loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his immediate family.

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m at St. Theresa Church 5301 Main St. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
