GoFundMe Created After Trumbull Man Dies Unexpectedly

Christopher Hughes, 54, died unexpectedly after a boating accident in Maine.

TRUMBULL, CT — A GoFundMe was created for the Hughes family after Christopher Hughes, 54, died suddenly following a boating accident in Maine.

Hughes left behind his wife Lisa and four children Alix, 19, Jett, 16, Ethan, 14 and Jayne, 12.

"How do you put a price on losing a father and husband? How much does it cost to raise a family, send kids to college, pay bills? I don't have these answers, and I'm sure Lisa doesn't either," said Hughe's friend and GoFundMe organizer Stephan Siebold. "I and the Hughes are greatful for all your generosity. Anything that can help put a smile back on those faces is worth more than you can imagine."
