GoFundMe Page Launched In Memory Of Trumbull Fatal Crash Victim
Bridgeport resident Elijah Page, 17, was killed in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday.
TRUMBULL, CT — A GoFundMe campaign has been launched in memory of Bridgeport resident Elijah Page, the 17-year-old who was killed last week in a one-vehicle crash on Old Town Road in Trumbull.
As of Monday, the page had generated more than $19,600, far exceeding its goal of $10,500.
"While on his way home from work, Eli was involved in a car accident," wrote Ashley Service, organizer of the page. "It breaks my heart that he was only minutes from home and seconds from safety. To know Eli was to love Eli."

According to Trumbull police, the vehicle Page was driving exited Route 8 when it did not stop before traveling through the intersection across White Plains Road (Route 127), and onto Old Town Road where it struck the guard rail.
The crash led to the temporary closure of the road, and it remains under investigation.
