Herbst, Musto Butt Heads On Reimbursements, Reports
The first selectman and town treasurer have found themselves at odds again.

TRUMBULL, CT- First Selectman Tim Herbst and Town Treasurer Anthony Musto are at odds again, this time over Herbst's restaurant reimbursements and Musto's financial report.
The majority of Herbsts restaurant tabs comply with IRS regulations, which requires record keeping of the business, number of people served and the date and amount of expense, according to the Trumbull Times. The first selectman admitted he could do a better job with being more specific for staff meeting lunches and business dinners.
Musto wants to enact a new reimbursement policy for town employees.

Herbst earlier this month criticized Musto's financial report presented to the Board of Finance as "sloppy" and said that he is spending time trying to sabotage the Herbst administration instead of worrying about his duties as treasurer. Musto said the mistake was a decimal in the wrong place and accidentally attaching a draft copy instead of the final copy.
