Jean Ciesielski, 82, of Trumbull

Jean M. Mancinelli Ciesielski, age 82 of Trumbull, beloved wife of Edward W. Ciesielski, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Cambridge Manor.

Jean was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Ponzetti Mancinelli and was a lifelong area resident. She was an active member at St. Theresa Parish, where she taught CCD classes and helped with hospital visitations. Jean was also a volunteer at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Survivors in addition to her husband include her devoted children, a son Edward M. Ciesielski of Trumbull, a daughter Karen M. Gorski and husband James of Penfield, NY, a sister Dorothy Suffredini of Bridgeport, two grandsons Alexander and Nicholas Gorski, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and aides on Kent 2 at Cambridge Manor for their compassion and kindness toward Jean, especially Chris Galpin for her long time caring, devotion, and love. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00a.m., in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, St. Monica’s Mausoleum.
