Letter to the Editor: Trumbull Day a Success
Town Council member Joe Pifko writes that the event was a success thanks to organizers and the citizens of Trumbull.
Again, Trumbull comes together for another great event. I have to admit, I had some reservations about changing Trumbull Day to the Trumbull Fall Festival. But it turned into an even more successful event. Hats off to First Selectman Tim Herbst’s office and especially to his Chief of Staff, Lynn Arnow for helping to organize and coordinate all the wonderful happenings. The rides, the music, the food ( I’m still remembering my lobster roll) and the spectacular fireworks did not disappoint!
It was also great to see so many members of boards and commissions working the booths and gates. We are fortunate in Trumbull to have so many citizens who are willing to get involved and help out. I worked the main gate and it was very rewarding to see families of all ages coming in ready to have a good time. What a great day! What a great town!
