Local Police & Fire Departments to Participate in Trumbull Mall's Public Safety Day
Over two dozen local agencies will participate in the free community safety event.
Westfield Trumbull Mall is partnering with local fire, police and other safety organizations to present a free community event to encourage public safety.
Over two dozen organizations will be on hand for Public Safety Day 2014. Attendees can learn all about the public safety resources available in each local town who participates. There will be informational booths, a helicopter landing (subject to weather and availability), crash and rollover simulators, and lots of emergency vehicles from local and state police departments.

- Bridgeport PD
- Fairfield PD
- Monroe PD
- Shelton PD
- Stratford PD
- CT State PD
- Long Hill Fire Dept.
- Nichols FD
- Trumbull Center FD
The American Red Cross, MADD and various other safety groups will be in attendance.
Admission is free. The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will be located outside the Trumbull Mall, 5065 Main St. Trumbull, behind LA Fitness and next to Panera Bread.
