Man 3x Legal Limit Arrested For DUI: Trumbull PD
The man struck a stop sign before he was found, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was charged with DUI after he was found to be more than three times the legal limit, according to police.
Police got a complaint about an erratic driver in the area of Whitney Avenue and Broadway Road Feb. 15. A witness told police that a Dodge Challenger struck a stop sign at the intersection and left the scene.
An officer noticed a vehicle matching the description in the Trumbull Pizza Company parking lot with fresh damage, police said.

Operator Kevin Basham, 60, had slurred speech and failed field sobriety tests, according to police. His BAC levels were .268 and .262.
He was charged with DUI and failure to insure vehicle.
