Man Crashes Into Two Vehicles, Flees, Gets Arrested: PD

Two victims managed to get his license plate number before he took off, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he struck one, vehicle then another and fled the scene, police said.

The crashes happened on Dec. 16 in the area of Old Town and White Plains roads.

A victim was in the left turn only lane waiting to turn when a vehicle in the middle lane turned left, cut him off and clipped his right bumper.

The vehicle then went over the median and struck another vehicle before fleeing south on White Plains. Both victims got the license plate number and gave it to police.

Officers tracked the plate back to a Bridgeport house and a woman said it was her son's vehicle. He turned himself in later that day.

Tyrell Hennegan, 24 was charged with two counts of evading responsibility and driving without insurance.
