Man Tried To Obtain Fake Prescription: Trumbull PD
He tried to obtain prescriptions through forgery at two Trumbull pharmacies, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bronx man was arrested after he tried to fill fake prescriptions at two Trumbull pharmacies on May 3, according to police.
Police responded to Stop and Shop Pharmacy and Trumbull Pharmacy after getting calls about a suspicious prescription situation at Stop and Shop. A man called in with a doctor's DEA prescription number, but pharmacists believed something was amiss.
A pharmacist at Stop and Shop called the doctor who confirmed he hadn't prescribed medicine to Michael Perez, 20.

Perez was stopped at Stop and Shop when he tried to fill a prescription there, police said. Police located false prescriptions from other pharmacies after arresting Perez.
Perez was charged with two counts of criminal attempt to obtain to obtain a controlled substance with a forged prescription and one count of obtaining a controlled substance using a forged prescription.
