Maureen O'Donnell Hayter, 76, of Trumbull

She passed away July 14 at home.

Maureen O'Donnell Hayter, 76, of Trumbull, beloved fiancé of Stanley Gray, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 14, 2016. She was born in Hartford, CT on February 15, 1940 to the late Edward and Frances Scanlon O'Donnell. Maureen worked for many years as a pharmacy technician at St. Vincent Hospital, Milford Hospital, Riverside Pharmacy and Bridgeport Hospital. She was very active in the Stern Village Community in Trumbull and was a huge UConn fan.

Nothing brought her more happiness than her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. Maureen brightened the lives of everyone she knew and she will truly be missed.Maureen was predeceased by her brother, Jay O'Donnell.

In addition to her fiancé Stanley, Maureen leaves behind her loving children, Kathy (Bill) Saley and Tom "TR" (Natalie) Slater; grandchildren, Jake and Erin Saley, Justin (Courtney) and Kali Slater, and Shayna (Christian) Perry; her great-grandchildren, Braedon and Addison Slater and Kane Perry; siblings, Sharon Voytek and Brian (Lorrie) O'Donnell; and several nieces, nephews and many friends at Stern Village.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 9 a.m. at Saint James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will be private. Friends and family may call on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford.
