Merritt Parkway Reopens In Trumbull, Pedestrian Hospitalized

UPDATE: All lanes have reopened on the Merritt Parkway in Trumbull, according to state transportation officials.

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck, according to NBC Connecticut.

This story will be updated when more information is available.

UPDATE: As of 11 a.m. the highway is still closed at the scene of the accident.

From State Police:

#CTTraffic RT 15 (Merritt Parkway) northbound at Exit 49 in Trumbull, is shut down for a motor vehicle accident investigation. Please use alternate routes.

From CT DOT:

TRUMBULL - RT15 Northbound CLOSED between Exits 48 and 49S because of Crash (Pedestrian Vs Vehicle). Reported Sunday, October 31 at 7:25 am.
