New Student-Run Bookstore Proposed For Trumbull Center: Report
The Trumbull Town Council approved a lease for the effort last week.
TRUMBULL, CT — A new student-run bookshop, designed to not only generate money but also to help teach work and life skills, is moving forward in Trumbull, following approval last week by the Town Council of a lease, reported the Trumbull Times.
The Elite Bookstore would be staffed by students with disabilities, and would possibly resemble similar area bookstores, such as one in Westport.
Schools Superintendent Martin Semmel said the school district, which would operate the project, could have it up and running before the end of the year, pending additional town approvals.
