Dog License Renewal: Animal Control Officer Lynn Dellabianca is giving Trumbull residents a final reminder that June is "License Your Dog" Month, and only one week remains to submit license applications to the Town Clerk's Office.
All dogs older than 6 months must be licensed every June. A current rabies certificate and proof of spaying or neutering is required. If applicable, licenses are $8 for altered dogs and $19 for unaltered dogs. The fine for an unlicensed dog is $75.

Trumbull Ranks Again: Trumbull is in the overall top 100 places to live in America on the RelocateAmerica “TOP100 Places to Live” report in its 14th annual listing of the top communities in America. It is vying for a Top 10 spot, according to a press release.

Each year RelocateAmerica researches, identifies and shares the best places to live in America, based on based on site nominations and issues most important to relocating consumers and homeowners for the year ahead.
This year, the standards were the best communities that are well positioned for economic recovery, already experiencing strong economic recovery or have proven overall economic stability, according to a press release.

Factors such as employment, education, community leadership and overall quality of life are strongly considered and all the data is examined to determine the Top 100.
Trumbull First Selectman Tim Herbst said he was "very happy" with the rating. "I think it underscores the fact that the town of Trumbull remains strong."
"Our financial health has never been stronger. Our quality of life is strong. Our economic development has been robust," he said, adding that the town's Grand List grew more than neighboring Shelton's.
The first Top 10 breakout list will be determined by input gathered on the website through July 31, 2011. The results of the first break out lists will be released on Aug. 2, 2012. Visit http://top100.relocateamerica.com to vote.

PCNet, Inc. has also integrated into its security framework campus-wide video surveillance, Two-factor biometric authenticated access, and its data center employees have been through a rigorous background screening process."
The company serves businesses from the local level to Fortune 1000. "All core offerings are developed to assist companies in increasing availability of their mission critical applications and data easily from anywhere, anytime, on any device in a safe and secure manner," the release states.
