Obit: Maria Labaredas, 72, Of Trumbull

Maria Da Conceicao Esteves Labaredas, age 72, beloved wife of Manuel Goncalves Labaredas of Trumbull, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born on April 19, 1946 in Pedrario, Sarraquinhos, Montalegre, Tras-os-Montes, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Joaquim Esteves and Ermelinda Goncalves Labaredas and was a longtime resident of Trumbull. Maria was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She cherished the time spent with family and she will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband Manuel of 52 years, survivors include three loving daughters, Maria Labaredas Lazaro and her husband John, Paula Maria Labaredas and Elizabeth Labaredas Petrazzuoli and her husband Raffaele, a sister, Albina Fernandes and a brother, Albino Esteves, and four cherished grandchildren, John, Aidan and Olivia Lazaro and Emma Petrazzuoli as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant son, Jorge Manuel Labaredas.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
