No.

Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

Town Council since 2015.

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

To contribute to the betterment of my town and its response/access to residents.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Cost of living, and we must make sure that we grow the commercial tax base to relieve the burden on the residential property owner.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I don't know enough about the opposing candidates as we have not crossed paths in the neighborhood, public school or via community events/service.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

We must strengthen police recruitment and retention, continue to obtain grants to subsidize a variety of improvements, and address long standing school and municipal buildings (including our senior center).

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Committing the time to listen and respond to constituents, gathering information prior to voting on policies/resolutions, and keeping the public informed of town events/projects.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

My father, who shared a quote from Stephen Covey's "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People."

"Seek first to understand the to be understood."

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I realized a childhood goal of being elected to local office in 2015 after several years of community service. My only motivation is to listen, learn and advocate. I believe this has served my constituents well regardless of political affiliations and has kept me focused on what is in the best interest of the community.
