Financial Advisor, 23 years of experience

Wife is Luisa, married for 17 years. Two kids: Daughter is 13 and son is 11.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?

No

Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

No

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

Reducing taxes, focusing on the youth in the community in both education and extracurricular activities such as sports and the arts, commercial development at the mall and downtown areas, and supporting first responders.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The most pressing issue is the raising local taxes over the past few years. I intend to focus on bringing commercial businesses back to Trumbull and developing relationships with local business owners rather than letting the town continue to build apartments for tax revenue.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I feel that the current administration of the town of Trumbull has become complacent, out of touch with the tax paying residents, and their main solution to the budget deficit is to build apartments which will create long-term issues such as overcrowding schools.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

In addition to focusing on lower taxes/commercial development and the youth in Trumbull including education and extracurricular activities, I’d like to make sure Trumbull does a better job of taking care of and supporting our first responders.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I’ve been volunteering for various youth organizations in Trumbull for nearly 10 years including AYSO (where I currently serve as president of the Trumbull Region and I was treasurer for 5 years), The Tashua Fathers Club (where I was treasurer for 3 years), and the Trumbull United Soccer Club.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

If you have the ability to help others, then you have the responsibility to help others.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Trumbull is a wonderful community to live in and I intend to do everything I can to make the community better!
