St. Joseph's High School Athletic Association of Trumbull is holding a Father's Day breakfast this Sunday. The grand slam event is taking place by Vazzano's Four Seasons at 337 Kenyon St. in Stratford from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The whole family is invited to join in on a great jumpstart to the day dedicated to dad, which will include "A Breakfast of Champions" menu and a "Walk Off" with a raffle prize. Ticket prices for adults are $25 each and for the kids, $15 each. The 40th Annual Strawberry Festival Craft and Fine Art Show held by Monroe Congregational Church will take place this weekend on the Monroe green at 34 Church St. A great Father's Day outing idea, the Strawberry Festival will have over 75 exhibitors and vendors, local artists, children's games, live jazz and bluegrass entertainment and of course, all things strawberry. The festival will run Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. According to Weather.com, this Father's Day weekend is expected to bring the sun and warmth with a high of 82 degrees. Come out for this old-fashioned church festival and give dad what he really wants, quality time with the family. The Bridgeport Bluefish at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport presents a Father's Day Classic Car Expo this Sunday before the Bluefish take on the Camden Riversharks. Grab a pair of tickets for you and dad and come by one hour before the start of the 2:05 p.m. game in the parking lot directly across from the stadium. Fans will be able to walk around and check out these classic cars, snap photos and talk to their owners. As a part of the pregame show, all cars featured in the lot will make their way around the warning track as the P.A. announcer reads a brief description of each car and its owner. Fairfield County Irish Festival takes places this Father's Day Weekend at Fairfield University. Starting Friday, come out to the school's beautiful campus with dad and the rest of the family for a taste of true Irish culture. There will be live entertainment including Irish step dancers in the Main Tent and live Irish music performances in the Cultural Tent including Irish sensation John Whelan, the Shamrogues, Paddy Keenan and more. An array of vendors will be in attendance selling homemade crafts, art, clothing, jewelry, food and drinks. Traditional Irish staples will be available for purchase such as Corned Beef, Irish Soda Bread and other baked goods, as well as burgers, hot dogs, grinders, ice creams and desserts. There will also be a soccer tournament going on Saturday and Sunday in honor of Kim and Tim Donnelly of Fairfield. Admission for adults  is $12 dollars, students with proper ID are $10, children under 16 with parents are free and a three-day pass is $20. Giant Steps Toy and Baby located at 226 Kings Highway East presents Daddy & Me Tie-Dye Party. This Saturday, come into the Fairfield childrens store and make a tie-dye tee for absolutely no cost. The Second Annual Tie-Dye Party will take place from 10 a.m. until noon. Don't wear anything too nice, because of tie-dye stains. Mom is invited, too, so save the date for craft fun and celebrate Father's Day the groovy way.
