PD: Intoxicated Driver Crashed Into Snow Bank in Trumbull
The driver's blood-alcohol level was reportedly more than double the legal limit.

An allegedly intoxicated driver was arrested after he crashed into a snow bank on Church Hill Road.
Police got a report of an accident on the front lawn of a Church Hill Road residence Jan. 25. The vehicle reportedly tried leaving the area but went into a snow bank and got stuck.
Police approached the vehicle and could smell an alcoholic beverage. Edgar Garcia, 36, of Bridgeport allegedly admitted to having five alcoholic drinks before driving.

He subsequently failed a field sobriety test and his blood-alcohol level was determined to be .1936 on one test and .1835 on another, police said. Both results are more than double the legal limit.
He was charged with DUI, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating without a license, failure to drive right and failure to maintain minimum insurance.
