TRUMBULL, CT — Signs have recently gone up at a former massage spa chain location advertising a popular international gelato shop's third U.S. location is "coming soon" to Trumbull.

"The community seems very excited to have Oggi coming to town based on the positive feedback we are getting," Bakalar said in an email to Patch. "I think this will mix well with the other businesses in the plaza."

In an Instagram post over the weekend, Oggi hinted at the opening in Trumbull with a video zooming in on a sign on the door with a block of text asking followers to "guess where we're scooping next."

In the comment section of the video, a number of Trumbull residents expressed excitement about the next Oggi location opening in their hometown.

An authentic international gelato shop with locations in Italy, Greece, Spain and Chile, Oggi opened its first U.S. location ever in Norwalk back in 2024.

The brand opened its second U.S. location on the Post Road in downtown Fairfield last summer.

Oggi customers can sample and enjoy a number of enticing flavors of artisan handmade gelato, including cheesecake, salted pistachio, biscotto al cioccolato and tiramisu, among other options.

Guests looking for something more exciting than cones and cups can also order scoops of any flavor on a fresh, signature Sicilian brioche bread or a waffle when available.

"Discover the art of authentic Italian gelato crafted with passion and pure ingredients," the Oggi website reads.

The space on Monroe Turnpike, located next to restaurant Prime One Eleven, formerly housed a portion of a Massage Envy spa which closed in February.
