Possible Herbst Challenger Emerges in Trumbull

Trumbull Town Council member Vicki Tesoro (D-3) has emerged as a possible challenger for First Selectman Tim Herbst come November.

Tesoro hasn’t made a formal announcement, but told the Trumbull Times that she is seeking the Democratic nomination.

She said priorities for the town and the tone of governing would be different.

Tesoro has been on the council since 2011 and has been a PTSA president at multiple schools. She is often vocal at town council meetings.
