QR Codes

A QR code is a square bar code, made up of small black and white blocks instead of lines, that contains an internet address. QR is short for quick response, and quick in this case, means almost instantaneous. People with smart phones can snap an image of a QR code printed on a product or a label and be immediately connected to a website with more information.

Restaurants in some areas are placing the codes on menus, to take customers to a photo of the menu item, or a video of the dish being created.

Realtors are placing the codes on Real Estate ads, for sale signs, and business cards to give customers a virtual tour of the property.

There are free applications on the internet for making QR codes and they can be printed in-or on-just about anything. Check it out!!
