Reminder: Trumbull Leaf Pick-up Schedule

Trumbull’s leaf collection is scheduled to start Nov. 10 after being pushed back from Nov. 3.

Leaf collectors will start in the northern section (Monroe border) and southern section (Fairfield, Bridgeport, Stratford borders) of town and will move inwards from there until the center of town is completed.

Primary roads will be collected first, which should take two weeks. Secondary streets will follow after that.

Leaves must be on the edge of the curb, but not in the roadway. Putting leaves on the pavement is subject to a $90 fine because it can create dangerous situations for pedestrians and motorists alike.

Residents can call 203- 452-5070 for bagged leaf pickup.
